Privacy Policy

What we collect
When you submit the consultation form, we collect your name, email, phone number, property address, average monthly electric bill, your stated interest and timeline, and anything you write in the message field. If you use the chat assistant, we store the conversation. If you call us, standard call handling applies. We also log your IP address briefly, solely to prevent spam and abuse of our forms and chat -- this is not used for tracking or advertising.
How we use it
We use what you submit to follow up about a free consultation, answer your questions, and (if you move forward) design and quote a solar system for your property. Chat conversations are processed by Anthropic’s Claude API to generate responses; we don’t use your conversation to train any model. We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
We use Resend to deliver email notifications and Vercel and Prisma to host the site and database -- both process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments, not as independent users of your data. If you choose to move forward with financing, we’ll share the information necessary to request a soft credit pull with our financing partners, and we’ll tell you before that happens. We don’t share your information with anyone else except as required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep lead and consultation records for as long as reasonably necessary to service your inquiry and maintain business records, and delete or anonymize data on request where we’re not required to retain it (for example, for tax or legal compliance).
Your rights
California residents have rights under the CCPA to know what personal information we’ve collected, request deletion, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information -- we don’t sell or share your data in the first place, so that opt-out is already the default.
