Financing
There’s no single right way to pay for this
We review financing options during your free consultation using an initial soft credit pull, which does not affect your credit score. If you move forward, a hard credit check may be needed for final approval -- we’ll always tell you before that happens. All financing is subject to credit approval, and terms are set in a separate agreement with the lending partner.
Solar Loan
Homeowners who want to own their system and maximize long-term savings.
- ✓Zero-down option available (or pay down principal)
- ✓Customer owns the system, so any state or utility incentives they qualify for are theirs to claim
- ✓Fixed monthly payments
- ✓No penalty for paying off early
- ✓Customer owns the system once paid off
- ✓Typically the highest lifetime savings of the three options
Solar Lease
Customers who want the lowest monthly payment and zero maintenance responsibility.
- ✓Zero upfront cost
- ✓Fixed monthly payments; maintenance included (provider owns the system)
- ✓Typically a 20–25 year term
- ✓Fully transferable if you sell your home
- ✓The provider owns the system and claims the federal business credit (IRC Section 48E), which is reflected in the rate you are quoted -- the customer does not claim it directly
Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)
Customers who want to pay only for the energy their system actually produces.
- ✓Zero upfront cost
- ✓Pay a per-kWh rate typically lower than utility rates
- ✓Provider owns and maintains the system
- ✓Typically a 20–25 year agreement
- ✓Fully transferable upon home sale
- ✓The provider owns the system and claims the federal business credit (IRC Section 48E), which is reflected in the per-kWh rate -- the customer does not claim it directly
Financing partners
Financing through established lending partners
Availability varies by state, and which option fits depends on your bill, your tax position and how long you plan to stay. All financing is subject to credit approval, with final terms coming from the lending partner.
- GoodLeap
- LightReach
- Concert Loan
- Aven
- Propel Pre-Paid
- EnFin
Partner names and marks are the property of their respective owners. Availability is subject to change and to credit approval; final terms are set by the lending partner, not by Evolve Solar.
Size it out
See what it actually costs before you pick a payment structure
Enter your average monthly electric bill for a real system size and price estimate -- then we’ll help you match it to a loan, lease, or PPA.
Pulls measured sun exposure from satellite imagery instead of a regional guess, and shows how many panels your roof can physically fit.
Working out your estimate…
This is a preliminary planning estimate only, generated from your stated bill and an assumed utility rate -- not a quote. It excludes site-specific adders like main panel upgrades, trenching, ground mount structures, battery storage and structural work. Pricing varies by state. Final pricing requires an engineering review, roof-fit verification, and utility approval. Actual system size, production, and pricing may vary.

Ask us about PACE (Property Assessed Clean Energy) financing, too -- it is repaid through your property tax bill rather than a separate loan or lease. Whether it is available to you depends on your specific city or county having an active program, so we will confirm what is actually open in your area rather than guess here.
